Space telescopes are large telescopes that are designed to be constructed and operated in space. They are typically much larger than ground-based telescopes, with some measuring up to 100 meters across. Space telescopes are used to observe distant objects in the universe, such as stars, galaxies, and other celestial bodies. They are also used to study the composition of planets and other objects in our solar system. Space telescopes are able to capture images and data that would otherwise be impossible to obtain from Earth-based telescopes due to the interference of the atmosphere.
